I have just fully restored these T H Brown Bar stools as they had a heavy vanish badly brush on the teak wood and also old orange wool on the seats.

First I took the stools apart and hand sanded the teak frames to remove all the old vanish then french polished the teak frames then finshed with a natural beeswaxed so show the nice grain in the wood.

I selected a mixed grey checked wool upholstery fabric to upholster the seat pads on the T H Brown Stools after replacing the old foam with new fire retardant foam.

One of the reason why I like these stools is the bentwood teak sprung backs which looks great and makes the stool very comfortable.
